Meet Shelly
Hey there! I'm Shelly Szmyt - Principal Broker & Division President | Jason Mitchell Group. If you're looking for a broker who knows the New Hampshire and Massachusetts markets inside and out (and can make the process a little more fun), you've come to the right place. I grew up in New Hampshire and went to high school at Central Catholic in Lawrence, so I've got deep roots in both states. With nearly seven years in real estate, I've built a reputation as the go-to broker who gets deals done. In 2024 alone, I closed $25.5 million in sales- yes, I like to stay busy! I also rank in the top 1% for veteran loans and transactions, helping those who have served secure the homes they deserve.
Whether it's residential, commercial, or business sales, I bring a well-rounded perspective to every deal, keeping my clients ahead of market trends and making sure they make the smartest moves possible. Before real estate, I earned my Master's Degree in Communications and Marketing on a full-ride Division 1 basketball scholarship at LaSalle University in Philadelphia. That background gave me a serious edge in negotiation, marketing, and relationship-building.
I know how to play offense and defense when it comes to getting my clients what they want. My approach? I bring expertise, strategy, and a little bit of humor to keep things stress-free. Real estate doesn't have to feel like a root canal- I make sure my clients actually enjoy the process. When I'm not closing deals, you'll find me geeking out on health and wellness- hot yoga, sauna sessions, cold exposure, red light therapy, you name it. I love traveling, trying plant-based food from around the world, and vlogging my experiences. I'm also a huge animal lover and social butterfly, so don't be surprised if I make fast friends with your pets (or your entire family).
Most importantly, I'm engaged to my amazing partner in life and business, Erica Ferro, and I adore spending time with her and my three incredible stepkids.
